16 movies for 2016! That’s right, it’s another full tournament for the 89th Academy Awards or the films of 2016. We took the Academy’s nine nominees for this year and added seven of our own.
The nominees were: Arrival; Fences; Hacksaw Ridge; Hell or High Water; Hidden Figures; La La Land; Lion; Manchester by the Sea; and Moonlight.
The films we added were: Captain America: Civil War; Hail, Caesar!; Hunt for the Wilderpeople; The Lobster; Paterson; Swiss Army Man; and Toni Erdmann
