It’s Round 2 of the 89th Academy Awards bracket. We took the 9 nominees and added 7 additional films for a 16 movie bracket. In this episode will be declaring the winners and losers from Round 2 and discussing the films that were eliminated. Of course, if you don’t like our decisions, you can take it up with the people.
The nominees were: Arrival; Fences; Hacksaw Ridge; Hell or High Water; Hidden Figures; La La Land; Lion; Manchester by the Sea; and Moonlight.
The films we added were: Captain America: Civil War; Hail, Caesar!; Hunt for the Wilderpeople; The Lobster; Paterson; Swiss Army Man; and Toni Erdmann.
